“Wheat Field with Cypresses” is an iconic post-impressionist art created by artist Vincent Van Gogh in 1889. This masterpiece is celebrated for its vibrant colors, swirling brushwork, and emotional intensity, through a vivid scene of nature set against  the backdrop of the southern French landscape.
 
Van Gogh Created this artwork during his stay at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Remy-de Provence, France where he voluntarily admitted himself to the asylum to seek treatment for his mental health struggles. Despite his challenges, this period was also one of great artistic productivity for Van Gogh, where inspirations of natural  surroundings and landscape served as a therapeutic outlet for his emotions and mental health.
 
The Scene portrays a rural landscape dominated by a dynamic composition of a wheat field and tall cypress trees set against a dramatic sky, Being a visual exploration of nature’s vitality and the artist’s emotional intensity, the painting’s swirling forms, bold colors, and dynamic composition reflect Van Gogh’s unique artistic version and ability to capture the essence of the natural world in a profoundly expressive way.

On a canvas of 165 x 125mm, a new minting technique called “Tri-Metal ” was applied to give this piece its remarkable weight while keeping its proportions true to the actual painting. This is made possible by combining 750g of Zinc as a center layer and 120g of copper as a base with a top layer of 2.5 oz of 999 fine Silver, resulting in a high relief. This is a limited edition of 399 pieces only. Each piece is packaged and delivered with a Certificate verifying its edition number and authenticity.
